Rewards programs and wellness tools that utilize online channels are more cost effective than print and phone channels and often result in higher engagement rates—yet many Medicare plans assume that their members aren’t online. Novu tested Medicare member engagement through both a direct mail rewards program and a digital wellness program; this case study delves in to the facets of digital engagement that result in increased participation among members 65+ and better program results.

When Medicare members had access to both an online Stress Reduction program and online redemption for the rewards program, participation was higher overall.
